Introduction
Analysis of key regulatory mechanisms involving protein modifications such as phosphorylation, ubiquitination, SUMOylation or acetylation has historically required a huge investment of time and effort. The Signal-Seeker™ lines of products have been developed to allow simple analysis of these key regulatory modifications by specialists and non-specialists alike.
As part of the Signal-Seeker™ line, Ubiquitin Affinity Beads have been optimized in order to detect endogenous levels of modified protein, which often represent <1% of the POI. Beads can enrich all ubiquitin species with a high affinity, including mono-, multi- and polyubiquitin chains (see Application 1 below). The affinity moeities have been cross linked to beads for low leaching and cleaner detection of the POI. A Signal-Seeker™ Ubiquitin Enrichment Kit is also available (BK161) and is recommended for first time users.
Amount
The package contains enough ubiquitin beads for 40 reactions and sufficient control beads for 5 reactions.
