As a component of the Surf's Up Surfactant Kit ELISA Kit (K40000), Surfactant No. 1 (Aerosol® OT, Sodium dioctyl-sulfosuccinate) is an anionic solution that is a good wetter and emulsifier. It can be used in immunoassays for antifog, mold release, and its dispersing properties.
