Protein Biotinylation Kit (LPBB21)

Protein Biotinylation Kit is a ready-to-use kit for covalent labeling of purified proteins, peptides, and antibodies with biotin using activated NHS-ester biotin. The kit provides fast, reproducible, and gentle biotinylation of primary amino groups (the ε-amino groups of lysine residues and N-terminal amino groups) without significantly affecting the protein’s biological activity. The optimized protocol enables biotinylation in a short time and allows control over the degree of labeling by adjusting the reagent/protein ratio. The resulting biotinylated conjugates are fully compatible with streptavidin-biotin systems and with standard detection and affinity-immobilization methods.
