1.4 nm gold particle with single maleimide group for selectively labeling thiols (-SH). May be used to label primary Fab' antibody fragments, IgG, cysteine groups on proteins, or other sulfhydryl containing compounds. 30 nmol provided: enough to label 0.2 mg of Fab'.

Description
With this reagent you can label your own primary antibodies (IgG or Fab' fragments), or any other biomolecules containing an accessible sulfhydryl group, with NANOGOLD®. Because NANOGOLD® is a discrete molecular compound and not a colloidal gold preparation, conjugates prepared with this reagent have several advantages over colloidal gold conjugates.
