LDS 751, far-red fluorescent nucleic acid stain (3426-10mg)

LDS 751 is a cell-permeant fluorescent nucleic acid stain used for DNA detection in live and fixed cells. With its long-wavelength emission (~712 nm) and compatibility with 488 nm laser lines, it enables precise multicolor flow cytometry and high-resolution cellular imaging. This dye exhibits a 20-fold fluorescence enhancement upon binding to dsDNA, making it a choice alternative to LUCS® 5 for complex assays. In live cells, LDS 751 preferentially binds polarized mitochondrial membranes over nuclei; therefore, it is critical to consider this when interpreting the organelle-specificity of the signal.
