Description
Gramicidin from Bacillus aneurinolyticus (Bacillus brevis) is an antimicrobial peptide that destroys gram-positive bacteria. It inhibits the growth of bacteria by forming pores and channels in the cell wall, which increase its permeability to monovalent cations.
