Gefurulimab is a humanized bispecific VHH antibody targeting both terminal complement protein C5 and albumin, with potential anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory effects. It inhibits the terminal complement pathway by blocking the cleavage of C5 into C5a and C5b, reducing complement-mediated inflammation and cell lysis.
