Chlamydia Pneumoniae COMC Antigen (Chlamydia Outer Membrane Complexes) SERION ELISA <i>antigen</i> (BA1371VS-1.0mg)

The genus Chlamydia includes, among others, the human and animal pathogenic species C. pneumoniae, C. trachomatis and C. abortus. For the production of the native antigens, strains C. pneumoniae TWAR strain TW-183, C. trachomatis Lymphogranuloma venereum (LGV II) strain 434 and C. abortus strain B-577 are cultivated in cell culture (Vero or BGM cells) and the elementary and reticular bodies are prepared by ultra-centrifugation. In case of C. pneumoniae a further purified native antigen is available – the COMC premium antigen.
