Description
Cerulenin is a natural epoxide compound produced by the fungus Cephalosporium caeruleus that inhibits fatty acid synthase (FASN). This compound reduces topoisomerase I catalytic activity and enhances SN-38-induced apoptosis. Cerulenin exhibits both antifungal and antitumor properties.
