known as KLK-L3) is one of the many
kallikrein serine proteases associated
with carcinogenesis. KLK9 is expressed
in thymus, testis, spinal cord, salivary
gland, ovary and skin. Like other
kallikreins, KLK9 is regulated by steroid
hormones in cancer cells.
