Alexa Fluor 488 - FluoroNanogold Fab' goat anti rabbit IgG (H+L) (min X Hu Sr Prot) (7204-GRP)

This unique antibody Fab’ probe contains both the 1.4 nm Nanogold® particle and Alexa Fluor®, both covalently bound, enabling both fluorescence and electron microscope observation of a sample stained in a single labeling procedure. This probe is smaller than a whole IgG molecule, does not aggregate, and fluorescence quenching due to the gold particle is low. Alexa Fluor® has been found to have significant advantages over fluorescein or rhodamine: it is brighter and quenches less readily.
